Walnut Creek Nightlife and Recipe Book
Walnut Creek has become a very popular place to spend the evening. Our
customers can dine at one of numerous restaurants or go bar hopping at our
many clubs and bars. This guide focuses on our city of Walnut Creek. It
consits of advertisements from the local bars, restaurants, and beer and
liquor companies.
The guide has a map of Walnut Creek showing the location of all the
establishments. The bulk of the guide will consist of drink recipes. How
many times has a bartender been asked, "What goes in that drink?" "What is
the name of that drink?" Our experience as bartenders is that everyone is
curious about what is in their cocktail or someone else's. It can become a
topic of conversation for two strangers at the bar. It is be great as a
cheat book for bartenders, or for someone entertaining at home. The drinks
are the most hip and frequently made drinks. Many other drink books have
hundreds of pages, full of drinks that are not made anymore. Furthermore,
many popular drinks ordered locally aren't found in these dated recipe
books. This has all the currently popular drinks.
In addition, there are sections containing: a guide to bar etiquette, a
glossary of bar terms, a tipping guide, and much more. This guide is a
great souvenir from each business that carries and advertises in
it. Customers like to have things that are personalized to 'their' bar or
'their downtown'. This guide provides that, as well as useful information
such as business hours and locations. The much talked about Code of
Conduct for the bars in Walnut Creek is covered and explained. This will
detail acceptable behavior that we as downtown businesses expect from our
patrons.
